Excursions, historical art excursions ... the offers are never-ending! The fairy-tale castles from King Ludwig II are especially fascinating: Linderhof with its grotto and water sports and of course Neuschwanstein.

Impressive and at the same time the sign of Bavarian Baroque in the Ettal monastery and the Wies church. Unforgettable is the festival house in Oberammergau and the open-air museum in Großweil. An excursion to neighbouring Tyrol or a short trip to Munich are always worth recommending.

The optically tremendous Alpspitze, the wild peaks of Waxensteine, Wetterstein and the Dreitorespitze look over the extensive alpine flora and fauna, which never fail to impress, neither does the alpine garden in Schachen with approximately 1000 various mountain plants - probably one of the most varied species in Europe.
